Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fans have been struggling with the series for six months or more now. Whether it’s Virat and Shruti’s closeness or how Pakhi (Aishwarya Sharma) tricked everyone into becoming the surrogate mother of Sai (Ayesha Singh) and Virat’s child, there is has a new drama every day. Although the show has great TRPs, fans on social media found it objectionable. The final scene of Virat (Neil Bhatt) himself delivering Pakhi’s child has people cringing, at least on social media. In real life, it’s not uncommon for women to have their children delivered by male doctors, but the fact that a devar helped in the process when it was his bhabhi who delivered the child was indigestible. The show airs in the 8-9pm slot, which is intended for family viewing in most Indian homes.
