Bhediya is a non-stop laugh riot with many Visual effects. The werewolf comedy also sprinkles in tribal culture, environmental messages, and anti-racism in a fun yet heartfelt way.

Varun Dhawan rooms Bhaskar -a small entrepreneur who is lucky enough to succeed after landing a golden contract with Bagga (Saurabh Shukla).

He was commissioned to build a road through the lush forests of Arunachal Pradesh. People aren’t too happy about it and the locals Panda (Deepak Dobriyal) even says that this action could provoke the wrath of the mysterious Vishanu freak.

Nevertheless, Bhaskar and his companions Guddu (Abhishek Banerjee) and Jomin (Paalin Kabak) start work. Until one fateful night, Bhaskar gets his ass bitten by a strange wolf with glowing red eyes.

Bhaskar then transforms into a werewolf, engaging in targeted kills every night. He is cared for by the undecided AF veterinarian Annika (Kriti Sanon). Now Annika seems to play dumb most of the time, but she has more than meets the eye.

As Streetthat of Amar Kaushik werewolf comedy is a thoroughly entertaining laugh riot from start to finish. Although the plot is quite predictable, the execution is excellent.

No complaints in the Visual effects department either, it’s quite cared for and breathtaking. The transformation scene in particular is awesome! The background score is haunting and the songs loveand Jungle Mein Kaand add that nice shot of energy.

The only problem is, Bhediya take it the whole first half set up the basic premise. But nonstop funny one-liners will let you laugh in a good mood. Things ramp up in the 2nd half with a major twist in the climax. A satisfying ending indeed.

Of mythology and tribal culture at ecological messages and a lesson against the the racism facing the North EastBhediya manages to tackle several topics in a lighthearted but heartfelt manner.

The warm camaraderie between the trio of Varun, Abhishek and Paalin is really tod-fod! Their jokes are very hilarious and when you add Deepak Dobriyal in the mix, it’s a house comedy indeed. For real, Abhishek Banerjee stands out with his epic comedic timing.

Kriti Sanon has an interesting character to play and even his comedic sense as a ditzy doctor is endearing. She looks mega cute in her short hair too! Varun Dhawan excels in this werewolf avatar, showing off his chiseled body and balancing stupidity and action good.

Hit or miss:

Bhediya has all the ingredients of a hit comedy. Go see it in the theaters, it’s definitely worth seeing. Don’t leave just yet… There is a stree surprise also in the post credits stage.
