Self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal R Khan aka KRK was recently arrested for his controversial tweets about Bollywood celebrities, followed by his second arrest in an assault case filed by a fitness trainer. Amid the chaos, KRK’s son Faisal Kamaal contacted Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh and Devendra Fadnavis to save his father’s life. Tweeting from KRK’s Twitter account, Faisal alleged there was some kind of conspiracy against his father and people were apparently torturing him to kill him in Mumbai. He mentioned that he was unable to help his father and tagged Abhishek, Riteish and Fadnavis’ Twitter accounts to help him save his father’s life. He added that he and his sister will die without their father. KRK was arrested on August 29 for his controversial tweets about Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor in 2020. In the same week, he was arrested again after a fitness trainer filed a complaint against him for doping his drink, touching her inappropriately, showing her genitals and trying to have sex with her. The complaint was filed in 2021 and the incident took place in 2019.

The former actor has now been released on bail in both cases and released from Thane jail on September 8. His son tweeted after his father was released on bail by the court for the execution of a personal bond of Rs 15,000 with a bond or cash guarantee of the same amount. KRK is now supposed to mark his presence at the relevant police station on the second and fourth Mondays between 10 and 11 a.m. until the indictment is filed or for 60 days, whichever is less.
