In October 2018, Sajid Khan was named and humiliated by several women including Mandana Karimi, Saloni Chopra, Rachel White, journalist Karishma Upadhyay as well as a few others for sexually harassing them. Following the allegations, he was banned by the Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTA) for one year. Since then, Sajid has remained away from the media and public gaze. According to TOI, the creators of Bigg Boss 16 are trying to get Sajid on board as they hope to spice things up in the house. Sajid will be expected to speak about the MeToo allegations against him. Not only that, but Sajid could also reveal secrets about his ex-girlfriend Jacqueline Fernandez who is currently making headlines for his involvement with con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar. After a long time, Sajid was recently spotted in the city. It was said that he was going to make a return to the cinema after a long break. His sister and choreographer-director Farah Khan had recently shared a photo with Sajid while having dinner with his Tinsel Town friends Sanjay Kapoor and his wife Maheep Kapoor, Chunky Panday and his wife Bhavana Pandey, Avinash Gowariker and Seema Sajdeh at a restaurant from Mumbai.
