Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a fighter and she is not ready to get bogged down despite all the odds. Recently, the Pushpa actress informed that she was diagnosed with myositis, a rare disease. And only if you think the actress has stopped working and is taking a sabbatical. Nope! A highly placed source close to Bollywood life reveals that Samantha is doing her best to defend herself and is also focusing on her work as well as her treatment. Samantha is ready for her big break in Bollywood and has even started working on it.

The source further adds, “Samantha is also working on Citadel of Raj and DK with Varun Dhawan which requires a lot of action and for that she trained for high octane action under the guidance of ‘highly qualified trainers. Samantha wants to give her best in any job she does and has proven that time and time again.’ However, this sudden illness left her feeling disappointed and losing some hope. But she has won herself back and is fighting with all the fire she has inside. The doctors took great care of her and she is very grateful for all the care.

On the day Samantha informed that she had been diagnosed with myositis, everyone showered their love and blessings on the actress, including Naga Chaitanya’s half-brother. Samantha has been in the headlines ever since her split from Naga Chaitanya. While she gained a lot of attention with her song Oo Antava and later with her standout presence on Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan with Akshay Kumar. Samantha will make her big Bollywood debut opposite Akshay according to reports from a Karan Johar film and fans were eagerly awaiting the same.
