Vijay Deverakonda opens up after being questioned for 12 hours by ED over Liger funding; ‘I went and answered…’

Vijay Deverakonda is making headlines after being questioned by the Directorate of Law Enforcement (ED) about his latest release from Liger funding, as it is claimed that the makers of the film violated FEMA law ( Foreign Exchange Management Act). It is reported that the funding for the film came from a foreign source and therefore the interrogation took place. After Charmee Kaur and Puri Jagannadh, Vijay was also grilled for 12 hours. Speaking about the same in her recent interview, the Liger star confirmed being interviewed for 12 hours and said, “With great popularity there are challenges and you can’t do anything about it. But I see it as an experience. I did my duty when they called. I went to answer their questions.” Although it was earlier reported that Puri Connects suffered a massive loss as Liger failed at the box office and the filmmaker Puri Jagannadh has also taken a sabbatical from filmmaking. Liger also introduced the famous Baahubali Ramya Krishnan and now looks to be next. While leading lady Ananya Panday could also be called by ED for the same. Liger was a disappointment after its release and many Vijay Deverakonda fans called the film a waste of time and even wondered what prompted him to make such a sack movie. Liger failed miserably at the box office across the world and Mike Tyson, who would have received a huge sum for his appearance on the show, almost forgot he was done with a film like Liger. As the two actors in the film have moved on and are getting ready for their future projects. Vijay will next be seen in Khushi with Samantha Ruth Prabhu while Ananya wrapped up filming for Dream Girl 2 opposite OG Dream Girl Ayushmann Khurrana.
