When Esha Deol slapped Amrita Rao hard after the latter abused her in front of Pyare Mohan’s team

We have often heard this saying repeatedly that “two actresses cannot be friends with each other”. There have been various reports of Bollywood catfights. While many people would not believe, but some of them were really true. One of the biggest catfights in Bollywood history took place between Esha Deol and Amrita Rao on the sets of Pyare Mohan. The incident had taken place in 2006 when Esha and Amrita worked together in Pyare Mohan which also included Fardeen Khan and Vivek Oberoi. Although the film bombed terribly at the box office, it was Esha and Amrita’s fight that caught everyone’s attention. At the time, it was reported that Esha ended up slapping Amrita across the face after the latter allegedly assaulted her in front of their director Indra Kumar and their cameraman. Esha said Amrita was completely irrelevant and to protect self-respect and dignity she slapped Amrita in the heat of the moment. “I have no regrets because she totally deserved it for her behavior towards me at that time,” Esha previously said in an interview with TOI. She had said that she was not the one who would lose her temper so easily because she came from a very cultured background and it was not in her nature to react in such an extreme way unless she was prompted to a high level.

Esha had further revealed that a few days after the incident, Amrita realized her mistake and came to her to apologize for her actions. She accepted his apology and forgave him. “I just stood up for myself and my dignity. She realized what she had done and apologized to me and I forgave her. Now everything is fine between us,” she added .

Well, this peaceful way to end the war.
